All Flame Breathing skills received updated visual effects for a more impressive appearance.
Sound Breathing received a complete overhaul with new mechanics, animations, and balance changes.
New ranked lobby, improved matchmaking system, and skill-based point system. Top players now displayed in the lobby!

Know Before You Play
Important clarification: If you're a Hybrid (demon + slayer), you will NOT have a crow companion. This is an intentional design decision because hybrids are essentially demons, and demons don't have crows in the game lore.
Many players were confused about this, but it's working as intended. If you need a crow for quests, you must be a pure Slayer, not a Hybrid.
You now only lose 10% of your money when you die (previously higher). If you combat log (quit during battle), you lose 25% instead.
Both Slayers and Demons now start with higher base health:
This makes early game less punishing for new players.
You now get a 5-second safe zone when spawning, plus full health and hunger. This prevents spawn camping.

New to Demonfall? This guide will help you start your journey from zero to hero in just 30 minutes!
Follow these steps to get started quickly and avoid common mistakes that slow down new players.
Before doing anything else, learn how to move and fight. This will save you a lot of frustration.
Look for NPCs (characters) with exclamation marks (!) above their heads. They give you quests that help you level up.
Your first goal is to reach level 10. This unlocks important features in the game.
Once you reach level 10, you need to decide what kind of character you want to be.
Learn breathing techniques like Water or Flame Breathing. Good for players who want to help others and fight demons.
đĸ Beginner FriendlyGet Muzan Blood (from codes!) and become a demon with blood demon arts. More powerful at night, weaker during day.
đĄ Advanced PlayersLearn from others' mistakes! Here are the most common errors new players make.
Mistake: Using skill points before getting a breathing style.
Solution: Save all your skill points until you learn a breathing style (around level 12-15). You need them to unlock breathing moves!
Mistake: Attacking players who are much stronger than you.
Solution: Check their level before fighting. If they are 10+ levels above you, avoid them and focus on quests instead.
Mistake: Forgetting to redeem free codes from the start.
Solution: Visit our codes page and use all working codes right now. They give you free items that help you progress faster!
Mistake: Only attacking without defending.
Solution: Press F to block enemy attacks. Blocking reduces damage by 80% and helps you survive tough fights.
Mistake: Picking a difficult breathing style as your first one.
Solution: Start with Water or Flame Breathing. They are easier to learn and have low requirements. See our tier list for recommendations.
Mistake: Staying in one area and missing important locations.
Solution: Walk around the map to discover new quests, NPCs, and training areas. Some breathing trainers are hidden in remote locations!
Mistake: Selling rare items like Demon Horns for quick money.
Solution: Keep all Demon Horns, Demon Collars, and Perfect Crystals. You need these to unlock better breathing styles later!
Mistake: Using Muzan Blood before understanding the consequences.
Solution: Being a demon makes you weaker during daytime and you can't learn breathing styles. Only become a demon if you understand the trade-offs.
Mistake: Playing solo all the time.
Solution: Join an active clan early. Clan members can help you with tough quests, protect you from enemies, and teach you combat strategies.
Mistake: Trying to level up too fast without learning game mechanics.
Solution: Take your time to practice combat, learn combos, and understand how different moves work. Skill matters more than level!

Master your character progression with detailed breakdowns of Slayer and Demon skill trees
The Slayer Skill Tree is accessed by pressing M on keyboard (PC), pressing the leaf button on the left of your screen (mobile), or pressing right on the D-pad (Console). Slayers have three skill trees: Body, Breath (after learning), and Sword Mastery.
The Body Skill Tree affects your character's core stats and abilities. It takes 35 points to fully unlock.
The Sword Mastery Tree improves your swordsmanship and unlocks powerful sword techniques. It takes 21 points to fully unlock (Pure Slayers) or 19 points (Hybrids).

Discover the epic narratives of both Slayers and Demons in Demonfall
Experience the journey of a demon slayer seeking revenge and justice
Your story begins at Frosty Forest, just outside of your home village. You were collecting firewood to sell but you took longer than expected. Upon returning to your home, you find that your family has been slaughtered by a demon.
Filled with rage, you pick up your father's Rusty Nichirin and slay the demon, avenging your family. However, you are not satisfied with this outcome, and you make a pledge to discover the reason as to why your family was murdered.
After a while, your uncle Kohon arrives to help you bury your family. He is regretful that he wasn't able to arrive in time to help, but he agrees with your decision to uncover the reason your family was killed.
He tells you to find Hayaka in the soup shack at Hayakawa Village. Upon arriving, you talk with Hayaka. She tells you to complete the Final Selection exam and become a Demon Slayer. From here on, your journey truly begins.
After completing the Final Selection exam and becoming a certified demon slayer, you head back to tell Hayaka. She is pleased that you have succeeded and tells you information about the murder of your family.
It turns out that the demon you killed was not the murderer, instead, he was merely a decoy to throw the evidence behind. The true murderer was Muzan Kibutsuji, the Demon King. You find out that your uncle Kohon is a Retired Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps.
Hayaka then sends you on a quest to kill Okuro, the former Lower Moon 6.
When Okuro has been successfully defeated, he tries to tell you the location of Muzan Kibutsuji, but he gets silenced by Muzan Kibutsuji's curse before he can tell you the location at all.
You go back to Hayaka and she tells you to speak to the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, Kagaya Ubuyashiki. When you first meet Ubuyashiki, he sends you on a mission to eliminate 8 demons who are attacking a village.
Once you return, he congratulates you and then sends you on another mission to kill some more demons and ultimately Rui, who holds the rank of Lower Moon 5. Rui is a String Demon Art user.
After you finish killing Rui, Lower Moon 5, you return to Kagaya Ubuyashiki and report to him. Afterwards, he'll give you a mission to exterminate 20 demons that are attacking Okuyia Village, mostly consisting of Higher Demons over Lower Demons.
When you fulfilled your duty by killing 20 demons in Okuiya Village, an unexpected demon arrives, who holds the position of Lower Rank 2 and he uses Shadow Art.
After you stopped the Lower Moon 2, the Hashira meeting takes place in the Slayer Corps. Muzan Kibutsuji then sends 20 demons to attack the Slayer Corps, you and the Hashiras have to fight all the demons.
When you finally stop all the demons, Muzan takes you and the Hashiras to the Infinity Castle. Yourself and Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira, will face the Upper Moon 3, Akaza, who uses Shockwave Art.
After you and Giyu Tomioka defeat Akaza the Upper Moon 3, you arrive at Upper Moon 2, Doma, who uses Ice Art. You will fight the Upper Moon 2 with Shinobu, the Insect Hashira.
After you and the Insect Hashira defeated the Upper Moon 2, the room changes. You meet Sanemi the Wind Hashira and the demon facing you is a Hybrid, the Upper Moon 1, Kokushibo, the demon uses Moon Breathing.
Walk the path of darkness and embrace the power of demon transformation
The Demon storyline offers players an alternative path of power. By consuming Muzan Blood (obtainable through codes or rare drops), you can transform into a demon and gain access to powerful Blood Demon Arts.
As a demon, you must navigate a world where daylight is your enemy and the night is your domain. Your powers are enhanced under the moon, but you become vulnerable when the sun rises.
As a demon, you are in direct opposition to the Demon Slayer Corps. You must avoid sunlight, hunt for food to maintain your power, and face the constant threat of demon slayers wielding Nichirin blades.
The demon path offers unique gameplay advantages including Limitless Regeneration, Body Absorption to heal from executions, and powerful demon arts that can overwhelm slayers in combat.
Experienced players can attempt the Hybrid path - mastering both Breathing Styles and Demon Arts simultaneously. This requires strategic planning and offers the best of both worlds, combining slayer techniques with demonic powers.
